Checking into Hotel Point...
a fab new blog by John Latta wherein he professes his love of Flood Editions and posts some bits from John Clare's correspondence for a little chew. Hello Hotel Point.

Sounds like...
Theresa, spoken by someone in a nearby cubicle, sounds like chorizo. Maybe I need a snack. Or better yet, a trip home?
Frequency this Sunday...
with Hal Sirowitz, Paul McDonald, and Shappy! Come on out if you're around. You'll leave with a smile, I swear. Map, directions, and full schedule on my Frequency page.
Another snark attack...
by Laura Miller. Dan comments on it in a recent post to his new Unpleasant Event Schedule Blogspot-hosted blog. Turns out that his comment about the NYTBR review of his book shouldn't have been posted in the first place--but what his letter to the Beliver asked was a good question: Why would a rock critic who is on record as disliking Queen be assigned to write about a book of prose poems about the band? A biased position going in guarantees a biased review, right? Anyway.
